Nova’s European Youth Cultural Project was  developed in 1993 and works with a group of professionals  who have over 20 years experience working with teens and young adults.  Our program  encourages children and teens from all nationalities to freely develop their creativity in a safe and supportive environment.

It’s an excellent project to get people from Ireland and Europe doing activities including sports arts drama, games and other recreational activities through English. Teresa is an excellent youth leader and the project deserve some a lot of praise for its practical but fun way of engaging youth.

I had the pleasure of teaching creative writing at Teresa Lavina’s summer camp this year. She has the ability to keep her students active and curious while providing a wide range of classes, studies, guest speakers and tutors. I worked with Teresa and Gavin last year and was honored to be invited back. I saw familiar faces of the students I saw last year which is a testimony of the quality of education and care which Gavin and Teresa provide. They provide education, entertainment, personal interaction and above all a safe and joyous environment for their students to develop and grow. The only down side is that I am too old to be a student of theirs, but if I was I can imagine the doors it would open for me leading to careers in art, entertainment or just plain character building. Highly recommended .

Teaching screenwriting has never been so fun! The kids were engaged right from the word “go”, as we tossed and turned over story ideas as a group, to come up with a finished script. A wonderful experience, kudos due to Teresa and Gavin for organising and running the camp!

I’ve had the emense pleasure of teaching Makeup and SFX to these brilliant group of kids. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to learn some new skills which they can then put into practice and maybe I’ve sparked some who may latter be the SFX artists of the future!! I look forward to being involved in future workshops and the fantastic work Teresa and Gavin do.
